On this special episode of SDBD we have the super talented Americana musician singer songwriter Tara Shupe and her brother Daron Shupe (elder goth SLC) who happens to be a returning guest here on SDBD. This is a special episode because it is the debut of our “LIVE Studio Audience” edition. Please note that we had a few more people join us that we could not see on our YouTube channel. That was my fault because my settings were not adjusted accordingly. Next time for sure.

Anyways! Tara and Daron are siblings from a family that has much experience traveling the country to perform bluegrass, folk and country music. They started at a very young age, 4 and 6, and they are still performing today on a regular basis. We had fun chatting about the Shupe family and the future plans for band in the making. That band would be a trio with Tara, Daron and they are looking for a bass player, hit ‘em up if you are a bass player who is interested.

Tara says her future plan is to attend the University of Kentucky and get her masters degree in social work. She has plans to work with music and mental health. Such a great topic.

When Tara gets back from school in Kentucky she is going to be getting her pop band Shupacabra back together to work on new music using the electronics. Heck yeAh yo.
