From the Magic of the Summer Solstice, Straight to 7-11

That means the Goddess Gala date has been changed from the summer solstice of June 20th to July 11th. Definitely not surprised over here. I don’t just “go big” OR “go home”. I “go big” AND “go home”.
Here are some more featured dancers that will be at the gala. Whoo Hooo! It’s us! Sun DeLarge! That would be Tina B and myself! When Tina B joined Sun DeLarge I wrote an introduction for her. It’s back in one of the past blogs. Now I don’t usually go back and read my blogs, ever; because I don’t want to cringe, but this one is worth a reread because we get to learn some more about our friend, Tina B. I can not link to that page exactly but it was posted back on October 19th titled “Meet Tina B in the RAW”.
“Sun DeLarge is a belly dance troupe that started in 2018. They are an offshoot of the Whirlwinds of Brogla, a fusion belly dance troupe that was made up of good friends and good times. Whirlwinds performed between 2003 – 2018.
Sun DeLarge is a fusion fortified group that specializes in unique props, exciting costumes, and strong music.

Tina B
“Tina has lived in Utah most of her life. She has been dancing since 1999.
She is a hairstylist that specializes in hair color.
She has four sons.
The Christmas Box House is one of her favorite charities to support.”
“Shasha started belly dance classes in 1993 with Yasmina and Kimaya of Kismet Dance Studio.
She then danced with Ravonda’s Veiled Visions between 1994 – 2003.
Shasha created the fantasy belly dance troupe Whirlwinds of Brogla in 2003 with dancers Katya and Virrina.
Whirlwinds performed at many events along with several other dancers over the next 15 years.
In 2018 Whirlwinds had ended and Shasha went on to create Sun DeLarge.
Shasha’s biggest belly dance inspirations are Delilah and Aziza!
She married her soul mate and best friend (Jerry). She has one daughter, and two sons ages 26, 19, and 9.
Shasha is a certified auto mechanic and has worked at Jiffy Lube the past 11 years.
She loves her dobie ‘Jasper’ and being in the garden.”
